BMW X7 Motivations

Power for this new BMW flagship SAV comes from a choice of 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that produces 335 horsepower between 5,500 and 6,500 rpm. Torque comes on to the tune of 330 lb-ft between 1,500- 5,200 rpm. Known as the xDrive40i, it is capable of a 0-60 mph jaunt in 5.8 seconds.

An owner's second choice is with the 4.4-liter-powered BMW X7 xDrive50i. Powered to the tune of 456-horsepower using twin turbochargers nestled in the valley between the cylinder heads, the V8 engine incorporates direct injection, VALVETRONIC fully variable valve timing and Double-VANOS variable camshaft timing. All these features work together in concert to provide power for a 0-60 mph jaunt in 5.2 seconds.

Both engines are mated to an eight-speed Steptronic transmission which has been improved to provide more efficiency than before. Using the BMW X7 navigation system, the vehicle is able to read the road ahead and proactively select the proper, most efficient gearing for the terrain you are driving on at any one moment. That's efficiency and power at the same time. Add the optional rear locking differential and dynamic damper controls for an SAV that is at home in the woods as it is at a black-tie affair with the new BMW X7.

This is only the beginning. There's much more and there is a specialist who can sort it all out for you. Contact the BMW of Wyoming Valley vehicle experts for more information about the new BMW X7 today.
